We started making kombucha at our home, just the two of us, and now look how we have grown!

The entire Rudy's Family consists of 15 people, based in Latvia, the Netherlands, Estonia and even Hong Kong. Our total production area is 1,000 square metres.

We have created an innovative product that has repeatedly won international awards. Our growth over the past five years has been organic and independent, thanks to you - the fans of Rudy's.

Our values

Rudy's Brewing Co. is an independent kombucha brewery in Kuldīga, founded by a couple and their dog Rudy in 2019.

We moved from St Petersburg, driven by our dream and ambition to start our own kombucha company in Europe. While experimenting at home with a 10-litre bucket in the walk-in pantry, we couldn't imagine how everything would change in a year. We created a brand and named it after our beloved dachshund Rudy, who became famous in Latvia and beyond. This inspires us even more to develop new ideas and conscious products that don't exist yet.

We do not like sour and vinegary kombucha. Our experience with the fermentation process and careful approach to recipe development has helped us create superior quality products, with rich and bold flavours that stand out from anything else on the market today. Fermentation is an amazing process that can give ordinary foods flavours and aromas beyond imagination. Although fermentation has been known for thousands of years, experience and technology now make it possible to create a product that offers all the benefits of vitamins and probiotics.

We produce what we like ourselves. Therefore, when making kombucha, we use only organic ingredients, free of flavourings and flavour enhancers. We press our own fruits such as berries and use only fresh basil and mint leaves, grown by a farmer from Kuldīga. Since we have become fans of our own product, we have realised that this is the only way to get a high-quality and useful product. We do not use mass production techniques or sales tricks. Our goal is a pure product.

We do not pasteurise or add preservatives because we want to deliver all vitamins and probiotics to our customers. That is why we package kombucha in aluminium cans, which protect it from light and oxygen, extend its shelf life and preserve its nature.

It is sugar-free kombucha.

We went one step further and created an innovative product with less than 15 calories per 100 ml. After a year of experimentation, the result is sugar-free kombucha.

This sugar-free kombucha can be stored without a fridge for a year without risk.

The answer is simple - we love our planet. A can as packaging is fully recyclable. It takes much less heat and energy to recycle a can than a glass bottle, which means less CO2 is emitted into our atmosphere. An empty can weighs 11 grams, while a bottle weighs 250 grams. A standard pallet can carry 7,200 cans and a total of 3,500 bottles. The aluminium can is the ultimate packaging for a future that has already arrived.

We are the first kombucha producer in Europe to aim for climate neutrality. We have reduced our CO2 emissions almost to zero and use only natural carbonation of kombucha. We plant trees to make our planet cleaner for ourselves and our children.

Who says charity is only affordable for big business? We decided to donate a few cents for every can to the clinic and animal shelter, because each of us can help those in need.
